From then on, enterprisers had turned the canyon into one of the nation’s most distinguished scenic spots. At the beginning of the industrial revolution, travelers crowd here, trying to find their legendary wilderness dreams and feel lost in its gorgeous beauty. Until today, the Grand Canyon is still attracting visitors all over the world, about five million a year.
A skywalk over the Grand Canyon on the west side, which is owned by the Hualapai Nation, made its first public appearance in 2007. This fantastic addition, however disputed, is sure to vary the visitors’ way of experiencing the Grand Canyon.
